The song of the fire

I am not burning because I am the fire

I am the fire because I am burning

when I wake up in the middle of the night

who is shaking the cage of my soul?

Who's breath is stirring me

to burn the questions burried in the middle of my chest?

When I look up and cry “Set me free!”

flames are coming out of my mouth.

There is no answer to why am I burning

I burn because I am burning.

And you, who are sitting in front of me like a log

wondering what am I made of,

how am I cooking my flesh and my bones,

come closer

touch me

if you burn, you can't get burned

let the ashes fall to reveal your diamond

be who you are

I'll tell you my secret

but first

meet me in a spark tonight.
