Whispering Over the Borders

knights and kings that lay below
use thy magic, let it flow !
free the snake, let magic glow
raise him high , don't bring him low !

we can keep the dies rolling and rolling...

how long do you think?

forever

ending as gabriel

love in the time of cholera

heaven might be close and near

but snakes loathe and hide my dear
new prey watch and long and spit
then they hide in their deep pit...

I've been there, knight and king

used the magic as it reels

written so many tales

why you ask am I down into my scales?

reading thoughts, stealing words
changing habits at crossroads
dangers from cards will follow
days of joy and bitter sorrow.

you are angry, I can feel

just imagine, we are still

and for time to come and flow it's no need to shed sorrow

just waving the skin of the pond
to remember the things I am fond
stones from nowhere I may throw
I forgot my arrows and my bow

dragons, snakes are on the sky

they are magic, they are high

if they chose a pit or well

say to Magic farewell

I might missed you now and then

hidden snake in secret den

there are not cards odds and even

when I'll meet you up in heaven

just stealing my words, reading my thoughts

almost forgotten

the odds

just waving the skin of the pond with stones from nowhere
